The WonderWash™ portable washer was invented in South Africa many years ago as a practical product for large, low income households lacking access to running water and electricity, and who wanted a gentler alternative to frequent hand washing. As the hand-powered washing machine uses 90% less water than regular washing machines, it was the perfect solution.
